Troy A. Gardow

Troy A. Gardow, age 62 of Valparaiso passed away Sunday, May 25, 2025. He was born on March 21, 1963, in East Chicago, IN to the late Richard and Corazon Gardow. Troy worked at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. He enjoyed camping and collecting beer signs. Troy was a great father and a caring uncle. His greatest joy in life was his family and he cherished the time he spent with his children.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Heather (Alsop) Gardow; children, Madison Alsop and Isaiah Gardow; sister, Laurie (James) Gagan; brother, David Gardow; sister-in-law, Cindy Gardow; mother and father-in-law, Judy and David Alsop; nieces and nephews, Chad (Nicole) Gagan; Taylor (Tom) Gagan-Buckley, April (Ross) Bays, Kristin (Mathias) Gardow-Pesjak, Lauren (Nathan) Gardow-Morton, D.J. Gardow, Rachelle (Ryan) Weir; great nieces and great nephews, Nora Gagan, Austin Filipoff, Olivia, William and Ava Buckley, Nash Weir, Kaydee Gardow, Kendall Gardow, Axel and Archer Pesjak, Emilia Morton; and many loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Corazon Gardow; and his brother, Richard Gardow.

Memorial visitation for Troy will be held Thursday, May 29, 2025, from 5:30 pm until 7:00 pm at Living Hope Church, 2386 Willowcreek Road, Portage. A memorial service will take place at 7:00 pm.
