Valentin Lopez, Jr.

Valentin Lopez, Jr., age 26, of Lake Station passed away unexpectedly in his home on Sunday August 1, 2021.  Valentin was born March 21, 1995, in Harvey, Illinois to Valentin and Christina (Flores) Lopez, Sr. He was a Paralegal Assistant for A.V. Justice.  Valentin was a friend to everyone he knew and beloved by his family.

He is survived by his loving parents, Valentin, and Christina of Lake Station; his fiancé, Mariah Sala; his son, Emorie Ray Sala-Osterman; two daughters, Kaiah Love Lopez, and Malia Rose Lopez; Many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Alejandra Lopez and his great grandfather, Domingo Jimenez.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial for Valentin will be Celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 3200 East 91 ^st Street Chicago, IL 60617 Friday August 13, 2021, at 2:00 PM.  Rev. Steve Niskanen, CMS will officiate.

Rees Funeral Home was entrusted with Valentin's cremation services.
