Valorie Dawn Clifford, age 69, of Portage passed away unexpectedly Sunday April 28, 2019 in the Porter Regional Hospital.  She was born December 5, 1949 in Gary, Indiana.  She was a Homemaker, beloved mother and grandmother.

Valorie is survived by four grandchildren, Ashley (Luke) McCormick, Daniel Rankin, Kody Rankin and Zach Rankin; a great granddaughter, Sidda LeeAnn McCormick; and one aunt, Lee (Lloyd) Sarkkinen.

She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Adella and Les Busick; and her beloved daughter Melissa Rankin.

A memorial service in Valorie's honor, will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church of Portage 2637 McCool Road, Portage, Indiana 46368 on Monday, May 6, 2019 at 4:00pm with Pastor Michael Lawson, officiating.
