Velma Wallace Coile,
born in Athens, Georgia on July 22, 1922, to Wesley (Doc) Underwood and Lillie Clyde Wallace. Passed away at home on February 3, 2013, in Crown Point, Indiana. Velma lived most of her life in the Atlanta, Georgia area. She was an active member of Rock Spring Presbyterian Church in Atlanta for sixty-one (61) years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband J. Olin Coile; two infant children, Ronnie Mack and Martha Ann; brother John Clinton Wallace; and nephews Larry Wallace Jr. and Gerald W. Wallace. She is survived by her brother Larry (Carleene) Wallace; daughters Glenda (Brian) Romer and Christia (Ben) Say; three granddaughters, Shannan (Tom) Anderson, Lauren Milner, and Melissa (John) McAulay; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sister-in-law Jeanette Coile Denton and several nieces and nephews.
Velma enjoyed her family, reading, travel and her many conversations with friends throughout her entire life.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at the Crawford Cemetery, Crawford, Georgia.
