Verlee J. "Butch" Heath, age 64, of Chesterton, IN, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.

Butch was born on January 9, 1957 in Greensburg, IN to the late Eddie and Jennie Heath. He was a graduate of Chesterton High School, Class of 1975 and worked as a groundskeeper.  Butch loved music and played the guitar and keyboard.  He even played in a band growing up with his brothers.  Butch loved to spend time with his daughter Roberta as well as his family and friends.  He was always known to live the high life and lived to the fullest.  Butch was a loving father, brother, uncle, and friend and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Butch is survived by his daughter: Roberta Heath; siblings: Eddie (Linda) Heath of DeMotte, IN, Randy (Carrie) Heath of Midway, TN, Betty (Bob) Sapien of Vassar, MI, Mayetta (Jim) Davis of Wheatfield, IN, and Virginia "Ginger" (Dave) Pardon of DeMotte, IN; adopted granddaughter: Aria Guzman; and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled for a later date.  Arrangements and cremation are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel.
