Veronica L Collins

Veronica L. Collins, age 75, of Portage passed away Wednesday April 23, 2025, at St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Veronica was born April 11, 1950, in Harvey, IL to the late Carl and Carol (Hendriks) Raimie. She was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, and wife. She was very active in her grandchildren's lives.

Veronica is survived by her children, Ronald (Kristina) Collins, Jr. of Portage, and Kelly Collins of Portage; five grandchildren, Kassandra Kosteba, Karissa (Ryan) Goulden, Joseph Collins, Christopher Collins, and Sean Collins; her great granddaughter Helena Goulden; her sister, Sue (Steven) Snyder of New Lenox, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and by her beloved husband, Ronald Collins, Sr..

Veronica will be cremated with no attended services. Rees Funeral Home was entrusted with her arrangements.
