Vicky L. Chambers, age 62, of Valparaiso passed away Saturday March 16, 2013 at Porter Regional Hospital. She was born May 15, 1950 in Gary, Indiana to the late Ramey and Margaret (Brady) Williamson. She was a homemaker, loving mother and wife. Vicky was a member of South Haven Christian Church where she was active with the Market Day Program, the Meet and Greet Ministry and the Communion Ministry. She was also a member of the Kirlin's Hallmark Club.
Vicky is survived by her husband Silas Chambers of Valparaiso, son Michael Chambers of Indianapolis, her sister Doris (Gene) Nelson of Valparaiso, several nieces, nephews and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and older sister Patricia Martin.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday March 20, 2013 at the South Haven Christian Church 780 Juniper Road Valparaiso, IN 46385 with Pastor Chad Allen officiating. Entombment will follow in Graceland Cemetery 1505 E. Morthland Dr. Valparaiso, Indiana. Visitation will be Tuesday March 19, 2013 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN from 2-8 pm.
