Victor Concepcion, age 85, of Gary passed away Wednesday May 17, 2017 at Franciscan Health Hospital in Munster. Victor was born October 17, 1931 in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico to the late Basilio Concepcion and Encarnacion Figueroa. He retired from Siemens Electrical where he was a production worker.

Victor is survived by his loving wife, Maria Luisa Concepcion and their six children, Wilda Concepcion, Luz M. Concepcion, Luis G. Concepcion, Jacqueline Colon, Misael Concepcion and Victor Hugo Concepcion; by his previous spouse Carmen Rodriguez and their four children, Victor Concepcion, Jr., Carmen Concepcion, Basilio Concepcion and Benjamin Concepcion; three siblings, Amando Rivera, Carmen Rivera and Conchita Rivera; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his children, Maria Luz Concepcion and Ricardo Concepcion; and his brothers, Cecilio Concepcion and Herman Figueroa.

Visitation will be from 12:00 to 1:30 pm Monday May 22, 2017 at Defenders Faith Center 2600 Grand Boulevard Lake Station, IN 46405. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park.
