Victor L. Gulbrandsen, age 74, of Hobart passed away Tuesday April 12, 2022, in Methodist Hospital, Southlake Campus.  Victor was born February 12, 1948, in Kirkwood, Missouri to the late Victor N. and Cornelia (Green) Gulbrandsen. Victor was a medical laboratory scientist retiring from Alverno Clinical Laboratories. Victor was a US Army Veteran and served during the Vietnam Era. He was a member of American Legion Post #54 in Hobart. He enjoyed carpentry, drawing, and spending time with his family.

Victor is survived by his loving wife Mary Ann Gulbrandsen (nee Muffoletto); his four daughters, Angela Fama, Rebecca (Kyle) Parker, Christina Gulbrandsen, and Emily Gulbrandsen; his mother-in-law, Tina Muffoletto; his grandchildren, Brittany (RJ) Gilmer, Rachel Moyers, Michael Moyers, and George Parker; great grandchildren, Madilynn Gilmer and Alexandra Gilmer; two sisters, Joanne Boll and Sigrid (Anton) Harris; brothers-in law, Anthony (Helen) Muffoletto and Jack Muffoletto; nieces and nephews, Julie (Jon Steinhauer) Boll, Leslie "Michael" Boll, Maria Muffoletto, Tony Muffoletto, Jack Muffoletto, Russell Muffoletto.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Victor N. and Cornelia Gulbrandsen; his son Victor L. Gulbrandsen, Jr.; and brother-in-law Les Boll.

Visitation for Victor will be from 2-7 pm Monday April 18, 2022, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm Monday at the Funeral Home.
