VIESLAVA "VESHA" WALDORPH, age 91, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014. Vesha was born in Chicago on July 9, 1922 to Vincent and Frances Jarosh. She grew up in Glen Park and graduated from Lew Wallace where she was very active in student organizations. Vesha had lived in Hobart since 1954 where she was a member of Community Christian Church and had been active in the Hobart Arts League and a contributing member of the Hobart Historical Society. She had been a longtime Girl Scout Leader and active at Liberty Elementary School.

Vesha is survived by 3 children, Howard (Marge) Hershey of Bloomington, IN; David Hershey of AZ; and Joanne Sue (Greg) Yonan of Chicago; 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Waldorph, daughter, Ruth Ann Waldorph, and sister, Olga Arnold.

A funeral service for Vesha will be Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at 12 Noon at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Rev. Steve Campbell officiating. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery.
