Vincenzina "Tuffy" Romeo

Vincenzina "Tuffy" Romeo, age 82 of Portage passed away Thursday, January 14, 2020.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on March 31, 1938 to the late Victor and Carmella Romeo.  She was a former member of St. Francis Xavier Church in Lake Station. Tuffy worked as a Waitress for numerous restauraunts in the area. She more than lived up to her nickname, "Tuffy".

She is survived  by one daughter, Kathleen (John) Urbanik, 2 brothers, Victor Romeo, and Robert (Sylvia) Romeo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Jack Romeo, and one sister, Mary Benedyk.
