Violet Emery

Age 77, passed away Monday, October 22, 2012 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 15, 1935 to the late Fredrick and Goldie (nee Moore) Tron, in Posey, Indiana. She married her late husband William Emery on July 17, 1953 in Posey County, Indiana. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Violet is survived by her daughters; Frieda (Glynn) Allen of Valparaiso, Martha L. Vincent of Portage, Marsha (Chuck) Robertson of Hobart and Judy Bigham of Portage, grandchildren; Jason, Justin, Michael, Taylor, Gage, Hayden, Leeland, Vincent, Bridgette Nelson, William, James (Jessica), Austin Emery Bigham, Christy, Amanda, Elizabeth, Michael, Logan, and Jesse Bigham, Tina and Ashley Spencer, Troy, (Kristie) Allen, Jenassa, Jamie (Jason) and Olivia Martin, Chuck (Paula), Jeffery (Michele), Samantha, Max , Kyle (Jaclynn) Robertson, Candace, Savanna, (Chris) Mendoza, Sophia Candace (Josh) Shockley, Aiden, Kylynn, Meredith and Sophia, brother; James (Phyllis) Tron of Mount Vernon, sisters; Frieda Wells of Mount Vernon, Bonnie Lakins of Virginia, sister in law; Margaret (Al) Mason of Mount Vernon, and many nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers; Jesse and Bud Tron, sister Karen Hanshaw, son in law; Doug Bigham, brother in laws; Richard Wells, Earl Lakins and Urlon Hanshaw.
A funeral service for Violet will be held Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage, Indiana. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday, October 28, 2012 from 2:00-8:00 also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
