Virginia M. Hooper, age 71 of Hobart passed away Saturday, June 20, 2015. She was born on July 2, 1943 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Elmer and Margaret (nee Conway) Ryant. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband , James Donald Hooper of Hobart; son, Dan (Teri) Hooper of Hobart; daughter, Donna (Don) Joswiak of Hobart; five grandchildren, Joe, Alec, Erik, Sarah and Abigail; nephew, Robert ; two nieces, Ashley and Misty many other loving family members and friends.
A funeral service for Virginia will be Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 24, 2015 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, (219) 942-2109 or go online at www.reesfuneralhomes.com
