Virginia "Jeanie" L. Frye (nee Lemon) 73, of Borden, IN passed away on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. She was born on September 10, 1939 to Leroy and Sylvia Lemon.
Virginia grew up in Gary, IN and graduated from Emerson High School in 1957. Virgina married the love of her life, Richard, in Feb. 1962. They were happily married for 51 years. She loved spending time with her family, shopping, and making her famous "road spaghetti" and oatmeal raisin cookies. Her career as a wife, mother, and grandmother kept her busy but she also found time to cashier at several area stores.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Richard of Borden, IN; daughters, Cynthia (Kevin) Lovall of Hobart, IN; Donna (Steve) Collins of Petersburg, KY; siblings Chuck (Jill) Lemon of Schererville, IN; Kathy (Steve) Schlosser of Hobart, IN; Lee (Karen) Lemon of North Judson, IN; sister-in-law, Karen (Tom) Woodard of Bloomington, IN; brother-in-law, Milton (Donna) Klein of Powder Springs, GA; sister-in-law, Kim Klein of Merrillville, IN; grandchildren, Nicole (Russ) Follis, Amber (Ryan) Lovall, Brittany (Samuel) Coombs, Kevin J. (Katie) Lovall, Kaitlyn (Johnny) Hagenseker and Joshua (Alaina) Hagenseker. Great-grandchildren, Reed and Jack Follis, Aedan Coombs, Noah and Harrison Lovall along with many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Virginia is preceded in death by her parents, mother-in-law, Edna Klein, sister-in-law, Carol Lemon and brother-in-law, John Klein.

Friends may visit with the family on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. with Pastor Richard Brown officiating.
