Virginia L. Madison (nee Mann), age 82, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on June 11, 1941, to the late Claude and Elinor (nee Von Stultz) Mann. She retired from McGill's Manufacturing Co., where she worked as a spot welder and also from H&R Block, where she was a tax preparer.   Virginia enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her friends. She was an extremely generous, strong, and independent woman. She will be remembered as the life of the party.

Virginia is survived by her loving daughter, Renay (Chuck) Smith, two grandchildren, Dane Wheeler, and Ashley Wheeler, two great grandchildren, Emmie and Lara and brother, Preston Mann.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, William L. Madison, her parents and seven siblings.
