VIVIAN LUCILLE HOLMAN, age 88, of Crown Point, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011. She was born July 6, 1922 in Galatia, IL to Arthur and Leeta Wilson. Lucille moved to Northwest Indiana in 1967 and was a member of Portage Bible Church since 1971. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and working puzzle books.

Lucille Holman is survived by her daughter, Karen (Robert) Stelter of Crown Point; sisters, Helen Hall, Mabel Serles and Frances Schwartz all of Harrisburg, IL, Betty Akins of Lake Station and Ruth Rumsey of Tinley Park, IL; sister-in-law, Wilma Wilson of Galatia, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jewel Holman; husband, Dan Hohrein; son, Dan Hohrein; brother, Howard Wilson; sister Mary Tomlinson and Doris Buonimici.

A funeral for Lucille Holman will be Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Homes, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Pastor Ron Smith officiating.
