Wallace M. Law, age 90, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2016. He was born on September 28, 1925 to the late Wallace C. and Ethel (nee Fitch) Law. He was a retired electrician of 36 years from Inland Steel. He was a member of Faith Mission Church in Portage. Wallace loved to preach. He formally served as an assistant pastor at the Church of Jesus Christ in New Chicago. Wallace proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a talented craftsman of leather. Wallace will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who loved music and playing his harmonica.
Wallace is survived by his wife, Wanda Lou of 26 years, daughters, Ginger McGath, Brenda Law, Glenda (Tom) Cullen, Rebecca (Rick) Kirk, Deborah Law; sons, James Mitchel (Deborah) Law, Martin (Joann) Law; son/grandson, Andrew (Jessica) Law; brother, Larry (Louise) Law; sister, Monteen McCurdy; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great grandchildren with one more on the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Phillip Cartwright; grandson, Michael A. Kirk; and sister, Marjorie Frost.
