Walter R. Reynolds, age 69, of Portage passed away Thursday October 6, 2016. Walter was born July 14, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Arthur C. and Ruth E. (Luther) Reynolds. He was a US Army veteran and worked as a cook/chef in many restaurants.

Walter is survived by three sisters Linda M Reynolds of Portage, Barbara A Gardiner of Monticello and Ruth A. Imhof of Portage; many nieces and nephews including special niece Lynn Ramsay and great nephew Justin Hopkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers Arthur C., Richard B. and Thomas C. Reynolds.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 Noon Monday October 10, 2016 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368. Cremation will follow.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are preferred to the Porter County VNA Hospice, 2401 Valley Drive, Valparaiso, IN 46383.
