Wanda L. Draves (nee Collins) age 88, born on May 15th of 1928 went into the arms of our Heavenly Father in the evening of June 21, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Harvey E. Draves; sons: Larry D. Draves, Alan E. Draves, Step-daughter MarryAnn Smith and sister Florence Maine.

Wanda is survived by her children: Shirley Ann (Leo,) David Alan (MaryJane,) Linda Louise (Dory,) Karen Sue (Dez,) John Harvey (Debbie,) Laura Joan (John,) Harvey Emil (Tracey,) and Scott William (Denise,); approximately, 28 grandchildren and step grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren & step great-grandchildren, 14 great great-grandchildren and step great great-grandchildren.

Wanda was a Gold Star Mother of the VFW Post 5365 of Hobart, a faithful Protestant, a devoted wife, mother and friend. She enjoyed bowling, bingo, slow dancing and spending time with her family. Although she didn't get to spend time with all her grandchildren or see them as much as she wanted, they always brought a smile to her face. Heaven gained a special angel today, and she will be missed dearly by all whose lives she has touched.

Funeral arrangements: Viewing begins Saturday, June 25th, 2016 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Funeral begins at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342, with Brother Jeff Strickley officiating.
