Wanda S Howard

Wanda S. Howard, age 70, of Portage passed away July 13, 2023, at Northwest Health-Porter in Valparaiso. Wanda was born March 23, 1953, in East Prairie, Missouri to the late Homer and Hilda (Bisher) Barger. Wanda loved horror movies, porcelain dolls, listening to music (including Elvis), and coloring. She sometimes could be a stubborn wheel. She will be dearly missed by her family.

She is survived by her three sisters, Stella (Doc) Williams of East Prairie, MO, Terry Barger of Portage, and Ruth Horn of Portage; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents.

Wanda will be cremated and her family will conduct a private service at a future time. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368.
