Wanda A. Lush-Westbury

Wanda A. Lush-Westbury (nee Daugherty), age 89 of Portage passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022. She was born on May 3, 1933 in Hartford, Kentucky to the late William and Pearl Daugherty.  On May 6, 1977, she married Donald Westbury in Gary, Indiana. She was a life member of the VFW Post #9323 Ladies Auxiliary. Wanda dedicated her life to taking care of her family. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She is survived by her husband, Donald Westbury; children, Roy (Kathy) Lush, Sherry Lush, Nova Mossman, Kimberly Taylor; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sister, Blondy Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Pearl Daugherty; her first husband, Roy Lush; sons, Steven Lush and twin boys, Perry and Gary Lush; son-in-law, Fred Mossman; daughter-in-law, Mary Lush; sisters, Nova Gregory, Edith Prestram; brother-in-laws, Roy Moore, Ernest Gregory and Jack Prestram.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 9, 2022 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. A funeral service will take place Thursday, November 10, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
