Wayne Eugene Jestes, Ii

Wayne Eugene Jestes, II, age 40, of Whiting passed away Monday May 13, 2024, at Community Hospital in Munster. Wayne was born November 21, 1983, in Dallas, Texas to Wayne Eugene and Joyce (Easter) Jestes, Sr. He was a Handyman of Trades and a Mover. Wayne enjoyed his guns, fishing, and driving, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his children.

Wayne is survived in death by his loving wife, Kelly (Jansky) Jestes of Whiting; His four children, Logan, Julia (Brice Penn), Harper, and Blakely; his parents, Wayne E. and Joyce Jestes, Sr. of Portage; his brother, Brad (Sonia) Jestes of Portage; and many dear friends and extended family members.

He was preceded in death by and infant sister, Melissa Ann Jestes.

Visitation for Wayne will be from 1 to 2 pm Thursday May 23, 2024, at the Christian Assembly Church 7498 Grand Blvd. Hobart, Indiana 46342. His funeral service will be celebrated at 2 pm at the church with Pastor Michael Macchia, Jr. officiating. Cremation will follow. Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel was entrusted with Wayne's services.
