Wayne Henry Jungerman, age 78 of Hobart, Indiana passed away Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born on April 24, 1938 in Gary, Indiana to the late Henry and Bertha Jungerman. He retired from Maple Manor in Crown Point, where he had worked as a Janitor. Wayne was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hobart. Many people considered him as kind, loving and good-humored. He enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, riding his bike and attending car shows.
He is survived by two brothers, Alan (Marian) Jungerman of CA; Nick Jungerman of Hobart, IN; two sisters, Jean Sailors of Centerville, OH; Marilyn Gillette of Hermann, MO; nephews, Ken (Sandy) Sailors of Centerville, OH; Tony (Theresa) Sailors of Hobart, IN; James (Sue) Sailors of El Dorado Springs, MO; Richard Sailors of El Dorado Springs, MO; Bob (Phyllis) Kolarik of New Florence, MO; Henry (Machelle) Jungerman of Denver, CO; Joel (Shannon) Jungerman of Denver, CO; Nick Jungerman of Los Angeles, CA; and Eric Jungerman of Los Angeles, CA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Irene Jungerman.
Funeral services are Saturday, June 18, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Kent Wartick officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Hobart.
