Wayne Paschal Simmons, age 90 of Portage passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2024. He was born on July 22, 1934, in Nashville, Tennessee to Paschal L. and Euanelle Simmons. Wayne proudly served his country in the United States Army. He retired from Lever Brothers where he worked as a general foreman. Wayne was an avid sports fan, and he loved cars. He enjoyed watching old westerns, especially John Wayne films.

He is survived by his son, John (Michelle) Johnson; daughter, Christa (Jeffrey) Hull; grandchildren, Hayden and Mason Hull; sister, Pat Danko; and many loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paschal Lee and Euanelle Simmons.
