Obituary
Wayne M. Thomason, age 67, of Hobart passed away Friday February 27, 2015 at St. Mary Medical Center. Wayne was born February 7, 1948 in Gary, Indiana to the late Holland and Lucille (Lively) Thomason. Wayne was a locomotive engineer that retired from the E. J. & E. Railroad. Wayne enjoyed woodworking and baking with his grandchildren. He was an US Army Veteran.
Wayne is survived by his loving wife Angelina (Rossi) Thomason; two daughters Michelle Thomason of Orlando, FL and Stephanie (Ron) Casaday of Valparaiso; six grandchildren Gabrielle and Hayley Sullivan, Lindsey, Hannah, Angelina and Aaron Casaday; five brothers Frederick Thomason of Indiana, Irvin (Ruth) Thomason of Georgia, Arthur (Sandra) Thomason of Indiana, John Thomason of Georgia and J.T. Thomason of Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Wayne was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters Georgia Bianco and Pauline Dobrowski.
Wayne's family entrust arrangements to Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road.
