William M. "Bill" Buchaus Sr., age 64 of Hobart passed away Tuesday, November 6, 2012. He was born on November 20, 1947 in Harvey, Illinois to the late Rudolph and Jeanette Buchaus. He was a Hobart resident for the past 4 years and a member of the Barrington Ridge Baptist Church. Bill was a former resident of East Hazel Crest and Hazel Crest Illinois and was an active member of the East Hazel Crest Bible Church. He loved woodworking, music, and puzzles and enjoyed playing several instruments.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Buchaus (nee Haddon) of Hobart, IN; 2 sons, William Martin "Marty" (Tatjana) Buchaus Jr. of San Antonio, TX; Eric (Shelley) Buchaus of Hobart, IN; 1 sister, Sheryl (Rick) Vincent of Holland, MI; 1 granddaughter, Karlyn Buchaus of Hobart, IN.
Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hobart. A memorial service will be on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Barrington Ridge Baptist Church, 97 Bracken Parkway, Hobart with Pastor Mitch Whidden officiating.
