William R. "Bill" Lesenyie, Triple G, age 92 of Hobart passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. He was born on January 30, 1922 in Punxsutawney, PA to the late Andrew and Rose Lesenyie. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus MSGR Ryder Council #4047 and the American Legion Post #20 in Crown Point. He was also a Tech Sargent in the U.S. Army during WWII. Bill worked at Gary National Bank as a Loan Officer. He also worked at Sears and Rees Funeral Home.
He is survived by his grandchildren, Jeffrey (Terri) Cicillian of Crown Point, IN; Michael (Vicki) Cicillian of Valparaiso, IN; Mark (Michelle) Cicillian of Valparaiso, IN; Keith (Jeannie) Cicillian of Hermitage, TN; Martha (Randy) Waddell of Hobart, IN; Julie (Bruce) Sowell of Hobart, IN; granddaughter-in-law, Debbie (Jim) Gorigus of Hobart, IN; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren; sister, Rose of WI and nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his wives, Margaret and Dorothy, sisters, Mary, Irene and Pauline, brothers, Louis, Julius, Andy, Frank and George, daughter, Carolyn (Edward Sr.) Cicillian, grandson, Edward Cicillian, Jr..
Funeral services are Tuesday, April 22, 2014 beginning with 9:30 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road and proceeding to St. Bridget Church for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
