William "Bill" E. Harper, age 81, of Hobart passed away Monday October 3, 2016 at St Mary Medical Center. Bill was born October 15, 1934 in Fabius, MO to the late James Thomas and Alice F. (Clouser) Harper. He managed the Pine Village Mobile Home Park prior to becoming disabled. Bill was also a veteran of the US Navy serving during the Korean Conflict.
Bill is survived by two daughters Kimberly Harper of Lake Station and Alice (Russell) Gresham of Kansas City, MO; three grandchildren Joshua Stanley-Howell, Amy Francis Stanley and Katrine Stanley; one brother Don Harper; four sisters Lottie Roshott, Joyce Mason, Carolyn Harper and Darlene Scearce; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Marie, three brothers Orville, Carl and Lovell Dean, and one sister Wanda.
William requested to be cremated with no attended services. Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana assisted with arrangements.
