William L. Kollasch

William L. Kollasch, age 84, of Hobart, passed away VNA Hospice in Valparaiso on Saturday, May 26, 2018.  He was born on April 9, 1934 in Bancroft, IA to the late Raymond and Geneva (Delperdang) Kollasch. William was a 1952 Bishop Noll graduate and retired as a surveyor at K&S Engineers in Griffin.  He was a member of the Church of Christ, and proudly served his country in the United States Army. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.

He is survived by his sons, Raymond Keith Kollasch and Jeffrey Kollasch; daughters, Kimberly Zinkiewitz and Tammy Kollasch; three step sons,  Mark, Mike and Rick Henderson;numerous grandchildren; brothers, Keith (Susan) Kollasch, Kenneth (Dorothy) Kollasch, Thomas Kollasch and Raymond Kollasch; sisters, Karen Hilton,  Rosalee Snyder and Mary Lynn (Robert) Emery;

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Betty; brother, Richard Kollasch; step son, John Henderson; step daughter, Carla Garner

A funeral for William will be Thursday, May 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with Minister Jerry Cleek. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso. Visitation for William will be Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
