William P. Mendoza, age 58, of Hammond, passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Golden Living Center in Merrillville. Bill had been a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and was employed at Ford Motor Company.
Bill is survived by 5 brothers: Art Mendoza of Griffith, Harry, Jr. (Kathy) Mendoza of Portage, Tom Mendoza, also of Portage, Dan Mendoza of California and David Mendoza of Portage, sister, Irma JoAnn (Ismael) Garcia of Katy, Texas, several loving nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eusebio & Mary Mendoza.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, February 18, 2013 at 10:00 am at Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church, 2949 Willowcreek Rd, Portage, with Rev. Andrew J. Corona celebrating the Mass. Bill will be taken to church Monday morning at 9:00 am for visitation until Mass begins. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
