William M. Orenick, age 71, of Westville passed away Tuesday December 1, 2015 at his home. William was born January 7, 1944 in East Chicago, Indiana to the late John P. and Elsie (Miller) Orenick. William was Co-Owner of Crown Point Firestone. He was a member of M. L. McClelland Lodge #357 F&AM in Hobart and the Orak Shrine Temple Michigan City.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Sharon Allen Orenick of Westville; his son Todd Orenick of Point Arena, CA; his daughter Racquel Orenick of Chesterton; his God-daughter Lisa (Gene) Dunfee of Knox; his brother John (Pat) Orenick of North Carolina; his two sisters Susan (Don) O'Conner of Chesterton and Sheila (Phil) Young of Chesterton; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters Elizabeth Sheets and Judy Stahura; his brother Robert Thellmann.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm Saturday December 5, 2015 at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel 10909 Randolph Street Winfield/Crown Point, Indiana with the Rev. Dr. Wayne Cunningham officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. A Masonic Memorial service will be conducted at 12:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations are preferred to the Shriner's Childrens Hospital or AseraCare Hospice.
