William Larry Pogue

Elder William Larry Pogue, age 40 of Portage passed away January 2, 2023, in Ypslanti, Michigan following an extended illness. Larry was born October 9, 1982, in Valparaiso, Indiana to William T. and Jackie (Hansen) Pogue. He was a former purchasing agent for Progress Rail. He was a strong family man and volunteered for the food pantry at South Haven Church of Jesus Christ.

Larry is survived by his loving wife, Cassandra Pogue of Portage; his two sons, William T. Pogue of Portage, and Nicholas Mawby-Adams of Kansas City, Missouri; his parents, William T. and Jackie Pogue of Jackson, Michigan; his two grandmothers, Mary Pogue and Maryann Hansen; two sisters, Anna (Jay) Rogers of LaPorte and Katie (Mark) Savarese of Valparaiso.

Visitation for Larry will be from 10 am to 12 noon on Monday January 9, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368. His Funeral Service will follow immediately at 12 noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
