William Prather Jr.

William Prather, Jr., age 85, of Crown Point, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2016. He was born in Kentucky on March 13, 1931 to the late Samuel and Orabelle Prather. William served his country in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a bartender at Sportsman's Park.
He is survived by 3 sons, Timothy (Sandy) Anthony, Edward (Marge) Hodge, and Virgil (Lorrie) Hodge; 2 daughters, Shirley (Glenn) Schifferer and Wanda Anthony; 13 grandchildren, Brian, Kelly, Bess, Cindy, Ben, Kevin, Eric, Whitney, Mark, Joshua, Adam, Stephanie, and Tyler; and 5 great grandchildren.
William was preceded in death by his wife, Blanche Ruth Prather; and 2 grandsons, David Hodge and Christopher Leitner.
There will be a private burial of cremains at New Highland Cemetery in KY.
