Willie Duncan, age 98, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2015. He was born on November 15, 1916 in Crittenden County, Kentucky to the late Charlie and Alma (nee Guess) Duncan. He was a retired steelworker from U.S Steel in Gary. On December 24, 1937 Willie married the love of his life Louise (nee Crouch) Duncan in Marion Kentucky. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Duncan; daughter, Sue (Kenneth) Miller of Hobart; brother, Donald (Agnes) Duncan of Salem, Kentucky; sister, Mary Cloyde of Princeton; Kentucky; grandson, Kenneth E.(Shari) Miller; three great grandchildren, Rebekah, Britney, Derrick and many other loving family members and friends
He was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings, Geneva Wright, Lucille Traywick, Eula Guess, Freeman, Charlie Ray, Larnie, Glenn and Robert Duncan
A funeral service for Willie will take place Thursday, August 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. He will be laid to rest at McCool Cemetery in Portage. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2015 from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
