Wilma L. Clifford

Wilma L. Clifford, age 82 of Hobart passed away Sunday, October 2, 2022. She was born on November 25, 1939 in East Gary to the late William and Vaidia Davis. Wilma worked as a hairdresser for VIP Salon in Merrillville for 40 years.

She is survived by her sons, Keith Coons, David (Kelly) Clifford; daughter-in-law, Lisa (Rick) Stovall; daughter, Beverly (Gary) Edson; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brothers, George (Sandy) George, Roy Davis; sisters, Donna Alford, Jackie Smith, Connie (Corky) McConnell; and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Davis and Vaidia Sharpin; her beloved husband, David Clifford, Sr.; son, John W. Clifford; two sisters, Sylvia Simanson, and Sandy Roque.

Memorial contributions in Wilma's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.

A funeral service for Wilma will take place Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
