Cheryl L. Ensign

Cheryl L. Ensign, age 68, of Hobart, IN passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022.

Cheryl was born on September 2, 1954 in Gary, IN to the late Ira "Ike" and Roberta "Bobbie" (nee Atkins) Warren. She was a graduate of Hobart High School, Class of 1972. Cheryl married Jon Ensign on October 27, 1973 and celebrate 49 wonderful years together.

Cheryl was the manager of Dairy Queen in Hobart with over 20 years of experience. Cheryl loved to play Bunco with her "Bunco Girls". She was a loving wife, excellent mother, devoted grandmother, dear sister, aunt, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Jon; children: Kyle Ensign and Michelle Fuller; grandchildren: Logan, Madison, Cameron, Elijah; brother: Terry (Debbie) Warren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cheryl is preceded in death by her parents: Ike and Bobbie.

Family and friends may gather at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart) on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. A funeral service will take place directly following visitation at 6:00 P.M. Cremation will follow services.
