Debra "Debbie" Lee Bordelon

Debra Lee Bordelon "Debbie", age 64, passed away suddenly on Saturday August 24, 2024, at Franciscan Health Care-Crown Point. She was born March 25, 1960, in Gary, Indiana to the late Luther and Hazel (Trusky) Schwager. She was a manager of the Food Services Department for Valparaiso University. She loved her family, bowling, and her job.

Debbie is survived by her loving husband, James Bordelon; her two daughters, Toni Bordelon of Valparaiso, and Tammi Bordelon of Incheon, South Korea; her niece, Kelly Jarvis of Valparaiso; three grandchildren, Eva, Olivia, and Arlo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Patricia Jarvis.

Visitation for Debbie will be from 2-5 pm Saturday August 31, 2924, at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, IN 46368.
