Jerry D. James

Jerry D. James, age 54, of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021.  He was born in Hammond, Indiana on June 12, 1966.  Jerry was on a golf league, enjoyed bowling, and was a past Hobart High School bowling coach and Hobart Little League coach.  He was an avid Dodgers fan.

Jerry is survived by his wife of 32 years, Teresa (nee Armenth) James; children, Cristina (Stephen) Stocker, Jerry D. (Briana) James, Jr; grandchildren, Hope, Madison, and Paizlee Stocker, Jerry D. James III "Trace"; brothers, Jeffrey (Denean) James, Gary (late Michele) James; sister, Kimberly James; stepfather, Robert Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Dale James; and mother, Sally Wilson.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be shared with the family.

Memorial visitation will be held Monday, April 5, 2021 from 3-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
