Ronald A. Richa, age 60 a longtime Hobart resident passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024.  He was born on September 14, 1963, in Gary, Indiana.  Ronald loved working on and driving classic cars and listening to Rock Music.

He is survived by his wife, Melody Richa of Rensselaer, IN; mother, Sandra Richa of Hobart, IN; one daughter, Pamela Richa of Glen Ellyn, IL; one brother, David (Dawn) Richa of Beaufort, SC.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Richa, and one brother, Bryan Richa.

Funeral services are Friday, August 16, 2024 beginning with 9:30 a.m.  prayers at at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart and proceeding to Assumption BVM church for a 10 a.m. mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Lourdu Pasala officiating.  Burial will follow at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Merrillville.  Visitation is Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5 p.m.  to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart.
