Vidal Lopez

Vidal Lopez, age 84, a longtime Hobart resident, passed away Tuesday, January 28, 2025. He was born on June 26, 1940, in Gary, Indiana, to the late Boniface and Florence Lopez. He graduated from Hobart High School, Class of 1958. Vidal worked as a teacher at Hobart High School.

He is survived by his wife of over 53 years, Judith A. Lopez (nee Bartos), two brothers, Ron Lopez, Randall (Donna) Lopez, two sisters, Bonnie Holder, Carolyn Luna, two nieces, Jill (Steve), Dawn (Dan), one nephew, Jeff (Jennifer) and loving great-nieces and great-nephew.
